Yes. Any person owning and living in the home can do plumbing and electrical work. That person must show that he or she is capable of doing the work by passing a homeowner's test, and must personally do all the work. In addition, the homeowner is required to sign an affidavit stating that he or she lives in the residence, and will remain for 12 months. |
Planning and Development - Housing Division

Yes. Any time a house or condominium changes ownership, or a rental changes occupant, an inspection, Certificate of Compliance, and Occupancy Permit are needed for the new occupant. The only exceptions are for apartments, which are inspected periodically, regardless of changes in occupancy. A new occupant of an apartment does need an Occupancy Permit. All vehicles need to be in working order and properly licensed, without flat tires, hanging or missing parts, etc. Essentially, the owner needs to be able to get in the car and drive away and not be pulled over for lack of current car tags. |

First, bring the original check to the Webster Groves Police Department's Records Unit, located at #4 South Elm Avenue. You must complete a "Request for 10 Day Letter" form (available below). The original check will be held as evidence. You will receive a copy of the form, and a copy of your check for your records. The Webster Groves Police Department will send a notification to the individual or party responsible for the check, directing payment to be made. If payment is not made within 10 days of mailing the letter, the Criminal Investigations Unit will initiate an investigation. The Criminal Investigations Unit encourages business owners to request identification writers, and verify it, it is important to include this information on the check itself. Streets

It is our first priority to clear snow and ice from the major arterial streets. Once this is accomplished, we will move on to residential streets. |

Trash Services

The Missouri Community Forestry Council defines tree topping as the drastic removal, or cutting back of large branches in mature trees, leaving large open wounds, which subject the tree to disease and decay. Topping causes immediate injury to the tree and ultimately results in early failure or death of the tree. Other names for topping include “heading”, “tipping”, “hat-racking”, and “rounding-over”.
